She worked with me to find a piece to suit my needs, and made suggestions of how best to make the chest of drawers look how I wanted it to look and even found cheaper handles that looked the same as the ones I had chosen! She kept me updated on the cost and how the work was going. It was finished very quickly and I couldn't be happier with what she made for me. My wife Natalie and I commissioned Emily to refurbish our old dining table which we got second hand, in poor condition and in desperate need of a new lease of life. The table is over 50 years old and was definitely showing its age. Emily picked it up, worked her magic, sanding down the top to reveal its natural beauty and painted the legs white to give it a modern look. She then delivered it back to us. It looks like a brand new piece of furniture! Very, very pleased with her work and would recommend her to anyone who wants to refurbish rather than buy new! Thank you Emily!

I commissioned Emily at The Furniture Narrative to find a solid wood TV stand having failed to find a quality product of the right style and dimensions in the shops. She identified, sourced and then renovated to a high standard a perfect piece for my needs. I now have a beautiful TV stand, finished to my colour specification for far less than I would have paid for an equivalent piece in the shops. We asked Emily to inject new life into our two elderly chests of drawers. They'd blended into the background at home and we hadn't noticed how tired they were until we saw her fabulous work on Instagram. We had some ideas for colour, but Emily really helped us change vague thoughts into wonderful reality, helping us with extra details like new feet for one, and taking our wish for different drawer knobs to new heights with amazing Mondrian style ones. I commissioned Emily to repaint my mirror for my newly-decorated hallway - it had lots of chips and needed a lot of repairs to the damaged woodwork, which she repaired.
